In the watt-controlled mode, the bike can keep the power output constant regardless of your cadence, i.e. pedalling speed – ideal for controlled endurance or performance-orientated training. Alternatively, you can set the resistance level directly so the faster you pedal, the higher the watt output. The electric motor braking system is especially quiet and precise across 32 resistance levels. In the watt-controlled programme, the resistance can be set as low as 20 watts and then increased in fine 1-watt increments.

The large 7” LCD screen is impressively easy to read with a well structured layout to display the time, distance, speed, watts, rpm, calories burnt and heart rate. A total of 37 training programmes provide adequate variation for your workout sessions including 30 preset gradient profile programmes, heart rate controlled programmes, target value and custom user programmes as well as simple quickstart in the watt or basic resistance modes.
